History

In 1995 Restek Inc. was established as the foremost Structural Restoration and Waterproofing contractor in the Southwestern United States. Since the beginning Restek Inc. has been committed to providing customers with the latest technology and practices in the Structural Restoration and Waterproofing field. In 2005 Restek expanded to include an office in Austin, Texas which since has successfully completed work throughout the entire state. Restek, Inc. is a long standing and active member with the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the American Shotcrete Association (ASA).

Tim Badilla - President

While attending school at Texas State University Tim worked for Restek, Inc. and completed a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Tim rejoined Restek, Inc. in 2005 and started the Austin, Texas office. With 22 years’ experience in project management and estimating, including 17 years’ experience in the Structural Concrete Restoration and Waterproofing Industry, Tim has tremendous knowledge in all aspects of repairing both precast and cast-in-place concrete structures. Tim recently served a term as Board President (2018-20) for the South-Central Texas International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI) and remains active on the board. In addition, Tim is an active member and ACI Certified Nozzleman with the American Shotcrete Association (ASA).

Jared Fields - Vice President

Jared joined Restek, Inc. in 2010 and has more than 18 years’ experience in estimating and project management. Completing projects in Mississippi, Louisiana, Texas, Kansas, and Oklahoma; Jared has a vast understanding of the Concrete Restoration and Waterproofing industry. Jared received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Construction Management Technology, is an active member for the International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA).

Austin Pylant - Senior Project Manager & Estimator

Austin started his career with Restek, Inc. in the field which provides him with an unmatched experience that contributes to his role as Senior Project Manager and Estimator. Since earning a degree in Agricultural Economics from Texas A&M University, Austin has managed and estimated projects for public, private, and negotiated work including TXDOT, Union Pacific, Army Corps of Engineers, City of Austin, and numerous general contractors and property managers. Austin is a certified AREMA bridge inspector and an active member with the International Institute of Concrete Repair (ICRI).

Ryan J. McDonald - Project Manager & Estimator

While attending school at the University of Oklahoma, Ryan worked in new concrete construction in the Central Oklahoma, Central Texas, and West Texas regions before graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Science. After gaining applicable experience in new construction, Ryan discovered an interest in maintaining and repairing structures with Restek, Inc. Ryan is currently an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and the recently established Oklahoma International Concrete Repair Institute (ICRI).
